In 2024, the congregation of Immanuel Lutheran Church will celebrate 150 years of faithfully proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a member congregation of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. We are a conservative congregation that makes exclusive use of the historic Lutheran liturgies. We believe you will find no finer nor a more beautiful expression of Christian worship. It really is a little taste of heaven this side of eternity.

Building on our rich history, we are also reaching into the future to continue touching the hearts and lives of people in very meaningful ways. All children in the community ages 3 through 5 receive an excellent program of Christian and early childhood education.

To accomplish our ministry here at Immanuel Lutheran Church more effectively in this very challenging culture, we continue to make improvements and utilize new technologies.

Our beautiful new church sign proclaims the joyous truth of salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Dr. Keith Schweitzer makes use of new technology to produce a video email catechism lesson to be reviewed by both young and adults alike who live in remote, rural settings.
The congregation has several women who are true “green thumbs.” A block of plain yard has been transformed into a truly beautiful prayer garden with a variety of blooming plants indigenous to Iowa.
